Description: This pickup runs three seasons (spring, summer, fall) and requires registration for each season's event or as a floater on a week-by-week basis. This is not specifically a beginner clinic group, but usually there will be players on the sidelines willing to help with basic technique. Defense usually plays basic person defense with a sideline force. On offense, ability to set a stack, and throw forehands and backhands is useful.
Expectation that we will be playing full field 6v6 last-back style pickup. Depending on numbers this may change but the goal is to give opportunities for full field play. This location also often has Goaltimate set up as well!
The game is played in the newly renovated turf field in the middle of the track, south end of Astoria Park. 10 min walk from N train to Astoria Blvd, free parking lot for drivers, or curbside Citibike docks.

Description: Community game open to all skill levels! Former club players to beginners playing together at Anderson Park in Upper Montclair. And the game is year round (sun, snow, rain, whatever) on the weekends (mostly Saturday, sometimes Sunday)with the occasional weekday evening game during the summer. During the winter, we generally migrate over to Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, on the lower baseball fields. Start time is 9a, which is when people are starting to roll in to stretch, cleat up and start throwing. First pull by 915! (at least that's the goal ...). Saturdays are more reliable than Sundays and we also occasionally do a game on holiday mornings if people are off work/school.

Description: This is a family friendly ultimate frisbee game that began in 2010 with some local synagogue goers. Participants are a mix of pre-teens and teens, their parents, and everything in between. It is a very friendly game, but still quite competitive, and many participants have been playing for decades and were on college or other competitive teams.
Games go on as long as the weather permits, typically taking a winter hiatus from Dec to March or so.

Mix of abilities and ages, including adults with their kids (min age: 10).
Note: We usually play 5 adults 2 youth per team at a time, so children typically rotate in.
The game started in 2010 and brings together a super-friendly group of locals. While we do play with youth and teens, the game is still very competitive and many players played in college or play in local leagues.
